On Saturday 12th January, the annual club supper was the usual relaxed evening, thanks go to members who once again went to a great deal of effort to make it ''right on the night''.
Of course apart from simply enjoying the evening, the awards for films submitted for inclusion in the 2007 Club Competition were handed out having been judged by members of Warrington Cine and Video Society who kindly agreed to take on the challenge this year. Alan Williams was responsible for the hard work put in previously by Alaister in compiling a tape of the films submitted. The last drama film made by club members, ''It's a Man's World'', is to be shown at The British International Amateur Film Festival to be held in Harrogate from 17-20 April. are eagerly awaiting the results of the competition and to receiving the judges comments, which are enlightening and helpful but often controversial - in other words we don't always agree with them!
